- Layout and assemble the panels to include required components. Perform drilling, tapping, and riveting activities as required. Layout location of wire runs
- Follow schematics and layouts to wire panels to meet customer specifications and company wiring and assembly standards. Ensure the use of the correct wires
- Perform all crimping and lugging activities according to standards.
- Wire custom electrical panels working from schematics. This is not point-to-point wiring.
- Operate a wide variety of small hand and power tools.
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and wire components and equipment consistent with codes in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
- Identify and apply required labeling.
- Place panels in enclosures as required.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Communicate any safety, quality, process or procedural improvement suggestions to Production Manager and/or Industrial Engineer.
