At least 1 year of experience in field, paralegal cert is desired but not required.

Draft, edit and file legal documents, such as petitions, applications, testimony, discovery, orders, settlement agreements, cover letters and other regulatory-related documents, using Data Site, Word, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook, and other Microsoft products, in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
Oversee, review, proofread, cite and quality check regulatory pleadings and exhibits before filing with the NC and/or SC Utility Commission e-filing system and in person
Track and manage regulatory dockets to track regulatory requirements and procedural deadlines and ensure timely response Investigate facts and gather documents from existing hardcopy files, data repositories and through inquiries of various departments throughout the company or jurisdictional Commissions ; organize and coordinate information that has been gathered; draft summaries
Assist outside counsel or consultants supporting regulatory matters as needed
Develop and maintain SharePoint, Data Site including SharePoint Workflows, and SFTP sites or other electronic media, as needed
Interact with external attorneys, administrative agencies, members of management, in-house attorneys, clients, and other team members in a respectful and professional manner.
Comfortable working in a deadline driven environment
Ability to appropriately prioritize multiple tasks, organize, and coordinate work
Experience in conducting legal and regulatory research, including use of research software (i.e., Lexis Nexis), and internet searches
