Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit affordable homeownership affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, partners with families and neighborhood residents to build homes and revitalize communities. Our service area includes the city of Atlanta and the cities and neighborhoods of South Fulton. Atlanta Habitat is seeking a Partner Engagement Intern to support our mission.
Position Summary:
This internship will support the Volunteer team while providing hands-on experience in various aspects of departmental duties. This will allow the intern to develop practical skills and gain valuable industry knowledge, under the umbrella of the broader Partner Engagement Team which maintains relationships with our volunteer and house sponsor stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend New Hire Orientation.
- Understand the overall concept of company and goals of development team.
- Support the online volunteer registration system, VolunteerHub.
- Respond to volunteer emails.
- In collaboration with the Volunteer Team, coordinate volunteer orientation and appreciation events.
- Create and assist with monthly newsletters.
- Take ownership of sign in sheets, snacks, and volunteer hour reporting for all build sites.
- Schedule: Tuesday and/or Thursday and Saturday with a minimum of 16-24 hours a week.

Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- VolunteerHub experience a plus
Education and Experience:
- Enrolled in college or graduate program.
- Must have driver’s license and reliable car (mileage will be reimbursed)
