Description

Scope of Work:

Respectfully perform all aspects of tasks associated with inside sales of products and services that meet the requirements of WPI customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Fulfills all functions and duties of Parts Person I, II, III and IV.
  • Supervise overall daily operations of parts department.
  • Supervise training of Parts Person I, II, III and IV.
  • Reports problems or concerns to parts manager.
  • Assist Parts Manager with issues regarding all branch locations.
  • Review and resolve inventory shortage issues.
  • Makes decisions as needed in parts manager’s absence.
  • Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have 6 year (s) previous experience.
  • Must High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical background or knowledge
  • Must have supervisory and leadership qualities.

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

  • Must have working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.
  • Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.
  • Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.
  • Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards. (Only if job requires)
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows based environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
  • Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days.
  • Must be dependable and work independent.
  • Must maintain good client relations.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate various types of office equipment, (i.e. fax, printer copier, etc.)
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate forklift.
  • Must protect the company assets and interests.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Weekend hours as necessary
  • Office indoor work, some outdoor work may be required.
