PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing heath challenges.
The consulting position will be based in Pakistan
In Pakistan, PATH is leading a technical assistance consultancy to support the development of a national multisectoral nutrition proposal, funded by the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF) and aligned with the Government of Pakistan’s PC-I framework. Effective implementation of this consultancy requires strong in-country coordination, logistics support, and on-the-ground facilitation, particularly during stakeholder consultations, document gathering, and internal reviews.
The Local Field Coordinator will play an important support role in ensuring smooth field-level operations, helping organize and document stakeholder engagements, coordinating logistics for workshops and meetings, and facilitating communication between local consultants, federal/provincial stakeholders, and the global PATH team. While the role is largely operational, it will also involve supporting the drafting and formatting of consultation summaries, meeting notes, and annex materials.
Consultant Activities:
Field Coordination and Logistics
- Organize and coordinate in-person meetings with government stakeholders, including confirming availability, venues, and documentation needs.
- Support travel logistics for consultants and PATH staff (e.g., hotel bookings, local transport, meeting setup).
- Track timelines and flag any scheduling or administrative bottlenecks.
Stakeholder Engagement Support
- Liaise with federal and provincial counterparts to follow up on data, reports, or documents needed for deliverables.
- Support the organization and logistics of the stakeholder validation workshop, including materials preparation and participant coordination.
Documentation and Internal Support
- Take detailed notes during stakeholder meetings and share summaries with the team.
- Contribute to the compilation of annexes and workshop documentation.
- Assist with document formatting, Urdu/English translation where needed, and light drafting (e.g., meeting summaries, field notes).
Team Coordination
- Serve as the in-country contact for local consultants and global PATH staff for day-to-day coordination needs.
- Maintain a tracker for activities, meetings, and status of deliverables requiring local inputs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Nutrition or a related degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the development sector
- Knowledge of local languages is preferred
