Job Category: AcademicJob Description:Patient and Public Involvement Research Fellow (Patient and Public Involvement Manager)Grade UE07: £40,497 – £48,149 per annumCMVM / MGPHS / USHER Institute – Edinburgh BioquarterFull-time: 35 hours per weekFixed-term: available from 1st September 2025 – 31st August 2029The Centre for Medical Informatics at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh is looking for a Patient and Public Involvement Research Fellow (Patient and Public Involvement Manager) to deliver meaningful involvement with patient, public and community members, as part of the LifeArc Centre for Rare Respiratory Diseases.The Opportunity:We wish to appoint an outstanding Research Fellow to develop and deliver Patient and Public Involvement (PPI). Playing a key delivery role in the LifeArc Centre for Rare Respiratory Diseases, the post holder will be responsible for facilitating high impact PPI within the Centre and its work. They will build excellent working relationships with research collaborators, partners, funders, patient organisations and the public, including the provision of training and support for these different groups. They will use NIHR standards in their work, and will develop new methodologies for research studies where required.
