About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised PPIE facilitator to support the PPIE Lead in coordinating and facilitating patient and public involvement activities for the COLLABORATE trial. You will assist with the logistics of meetings, workshops, and focus groups. Your role will involve managing communication with public contributors, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the collection and analysis of feedback to inform the study. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure that the voices of patients and the public are effectively integrated into the trial.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse groups of people.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion and ensuring that all participants feel heard and valued.
  • A collaborative, proactive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of organisation.
  • Experience working with parents and/or former patients in healthcare or research settings is an advantage, but not essential.

What we can offer you

  • A supportive and friendly team environment
  • The chance to make a real difference by empowering patients and the public to shape healthcare practices.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including training in patient and public involvement.
  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
