The incumbent is responsible for sustaining an environment of intrinsic good will for the practice while providing optimum services to patients. This position performs a variety of duties, providing front office support for the department/clinical team for which it is assigned. This position will be responsible for answering multiple phone lines.
Percentages of time allocated to functions in this position description are a guideline only. Individual assignments and time actually worked in each functional area may vary based on the department’s operational needs.

Department Overview
Neurodiagnostic Services encompasses outpatient testing for Nerve Conduction (NCS), Electromyography (EMG), Electroencephalography (EEG), Polysomnography (Sleep), and Transcranial Doppler (TCD). Our PSR team are highly specialized and cross trained to support each other. We have 24/7 operations for our technical teams supported by this PSR team.
Department Specific Job Scope
This position requires the skills and ability to manage the level of responsibility and accountability necessary to provide specialized duties for the Neurodiagnostic Services Departments including referral and authorization coordination, answering phones, helping patients at the front counter, coordinating for surgical, inpatient and specialized services, reception & registration duties, telephone coordination and scheduling, and other administrative support.

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
