Payroll Analyst III

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of related work experience or equivalent combination
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear, concise information sharing
• Customer service mindset with consulting skills to support internal and external partners
• Proficiency in analytical reasoning and root cause analysis
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas
• Ability to analyze large data sets and make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrated experience in planning and accomplishing organizational goals
• Project or process management experience is a plus
• Knowledge of HR, Payroll, reporting applications, and system integrations preferred
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with payroll tax, garnishments, and compliance programs
• Leadership in payroll-related projects and process improvements

Preferred education and Experience:

• 4+ years of progressive payroll experience
• Experience supporting payroll programs in a complex organizational environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to support additional projects as assigned
• Certifications like CPP are preferred but not mandatory
