Key Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance with payroll tax regulations, including federal, state, and local tax filings and payments.

• Reconcile payroll tax accounts and prepare adjustments as necessary.

• Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting and payment.

• Process tax registration for employees in new jurisdictions, including coordination with relevant agencies.

• Respond to any payroll tax-related audits or inquiries from government agencies.

• Collaborate with internal payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and withholding.

• Stay updated on changes to payroll tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

• Maintain organized records of payroll tax data for audit and reporting purposes.

  Requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of payroll tax experience.

• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.

• Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Oracle, or similar platforms (preferred).

• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with an attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex tax regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
