Location: El Segundo (Los Angeles), CA jobs-near-me.org Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)

Are you a payroll tax expert with a passion for precision, compliance, and continuous improvement? We’re seeking a dynamic Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-impact team. If you thrive on solving complex tax puzzles, navigating multi-state regulations, and driving operational excellence-this role is for you.

This is a hybrid role based in our El Segundo office; Tuesdays and Wednesdays onsite.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead payroll tax compliance for 2,700+ multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now.
• Own federal, state, and local payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on wage and hour laws, FLSA, garnishments, and Regular Rate of Pay.
• Research and implement tax law changes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across all frequencies.
• Partner cross-functionally with HR, Accounting, Sales Compensation, and IT to optimize systems and workflows.
• Make recommendations for streamlining processes.

What You Bring:

• 5-7 years of payroll and multi-state tax experience.
• Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS regulations, and payroll tax compliance.
• Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• CPP designation preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a drive for excellence.
