Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking an Associate Engineer to create and edit Adobe PDF forms for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications.   • Create and Edit Adobe Forms: Responsible for designing, creating, and modifying Adobe PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe LiveCycle Designer for the Enterprise.
  • Form Field Management: Make form fields editable, add new fields as necessary, and ensure forms meet
  • Jira Ticketing System: Manage work assignments through the Jira Ticketing system, including tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and gathering additional requirements as needed.
  • Collaboration: Engage in back-and-forth communication with team members or clients to clarify requirements and ensure the final form meets expectations.
  • Accessibility: Ensure forms comply with accessibility standards or have the ability to learn and apply accessibility principles.
  • Programming Knowledge: Utilize basic programming knowledge, especially in JavaScript, to enhance form functionality as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of demonstrable experience is req Four (4) years of additional technical experience on projects with similar hardware/software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TTOs, may substitute as one (1) year experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe LiveCycle Designer: Proficiency in creating, editing, and managing PDF forms.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of forms.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
  • Experience with Jira or Similar Ticketing Systems: Familiarity with managing work tasks and tracking progress through Jira or a similar project management tool.
  • Must be able to work during core hours of 10am-2pm

Desired Qualifications:

  • Basic Programming Skills: Some experience with a programming language, preferably JavaScript, to enhance form functionality.
  • Familiarity with Accessibility Standards: Basic understanding or ability to learn accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508 compliance) for creating accessible forms.
  • Understanding of Document Conversion Processes: Experience in converting various document formats into high-quality PDFs while maintaining functionality.
  • Experience in Form Design: Prior experience in designing user-friendly and functional forms for government agencies or similar organizations.
