People Consulting partners with and clients to drive and evolve their people agenda in a rapidly changing global work environment. Joining the People Consulting team in EY will provide you with the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting and complex transformation programmes in Ireland. Our team, in partnership with our clients, seek to ensure the long term sustainability and embedding of major organisational transformation programmes.

Our work is varied and challenging; from creating an organisation design that determines effective organisation solutions to embedding cultural and behavioural change across an organisation. We manage communications and stakeholders, plan and implement change journeys and offer an understanding of the HR structures, practices and policies required to support the organisation.

We have a number of exciting, client facing roles for individuals with demonstrable consulting experience in the following areas:

  • Organisation Design
  • Communications and Stakeholder Management
  • Change Management
  • Strategic Workforce Planning
  • HR Transformation and Digital HR

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting engagements across private and public sector clients in the delivery of change management, project management, engagement, business readiness, and supporting the People Consulting practice.

  • You will be responsible for supporting engagements across private and public sector clients. You will use a consultative approach to partner closely with clients.
  • You will support the implementation and delivery of projects and/ or workstreams across transformation programmes including technology projects, organisation design programmes and other change programmes.
  • You will provide support in all areas of organisational design; change management, culture, leadership/team effectiveness and support for other strategic initiatives.
  • You will plan and co-ordinate all elements of programmes from conception to completion, supporting the delivery of the programmes either in person or virtually
  • You will provide support for all aspects of programme planning while ensuring they are both effective and cost-efficient.
  • You will support delivery on projects and/ or workstreams, primarily on change and transformation projects to support the delivery of client requirements but may include other core service offerings.
  • You will work as part of a delivery teams while supporting and owning deliverables.
  • You will be responsible for working with management to implement project plans

  • Have experience using relevant change tools, templates and methodologies
  • Have an passion for change and innovation
  • Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise.
  • Have strong personal impact and resilience and be able to influence clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions.
  • Be pragmatic – taking a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement
  • Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions
  • Be focused on achieving project / programme goals and objectives
  • Be adept at overcoming issues and barriers
  • Be experienced of full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Degree qualified and have relevant professional experience; experience working on major transformation programmes is preferred.
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • A good understanding of change and transformation projects, with relevant experience in delivering change programmes in organisations
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex business problems and develop appropriate solutions
  • Experience working in a change management role or delivering change programmes is required
