Per Diem RN – Hematology Oncology Office Practice

Exciting Opportunity at MSK:Join our team as a Per Diem Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Office Practice Services.We’relooking for a dynamic nursing professional eager toshowcasecompassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impactinour Hematologic Malignancies division.

Role Overview:

• Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Office Practice Model.

• Provide clinical support to staff members andassistwith the management of a caseload of ambulatory hematologyservicespatients receiving treatment.

• Perform patient assessment, symptom management,and offer patient and family education.

• Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensureoptimalcare throughout the healthcare continuum

• Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSNrequired)

• New York State RN license and BSN

• 1.5-2 years of RN experiencerequired

• Hematology oncology (Leukemia, Lymphoma, or Myeloma) and ambulatory care experience preferred

• Schedule: PerDiem ,10-hour flex shift 8am-6pm Monday – Friday,minimumrequirement of 6 shifts per quarter
