Hourly Pay Range:

$18.50 – $28.68 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

position Highlights:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician I, Retail

• Location: Glenbrook Hospital

• Full Time: 32 hours/week

• Hours: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts; weekend and rotating holidays: 8:30am – 7:00pm

• Travel Required: Yes

What you will do:

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications

• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses

• Maintain inventory of drug supplies

What you will need:

• License:Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician required

• education:High School Diplomaor equivalent

• Certification:Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.

• Experience:Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred. Retail experience preferred for retail positions
