Lead the exciting journey of psychological discovery in our exceptional Newham school!We are seeking a visionary and passionate leader to become our Head of Psychology. You will be instrumental in establishing and developing a thriving Psychology department, inspiring students to explore the complexities of the human mind and behaviour.Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and lead the strategic direction of a new or developing Psychology department.
• Design and implement an engaging and rigorous Psychology curriculum across Key Stages 4 & 5 (GCSE & A-Level).
• Inspire and motivate students to develop a deep understanding of psychological concepts and theories.
• Develop and manage departmental resources effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote interdisciplinary learning.
• Contribute to the wider school leadership and ethos.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Psychology.
• Significant experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and A-Level.
• Proven ability to develop and implement a successful Psychology curriculum.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• A passion for making Psychology accessible and engaging for students
