About the Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Placements Administrator to join our dedicated Placements Team. In this key role, you will provide a full range of administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of placement programmes across the university. You will work closely with students, employers, academics, and internal departments to maintain accurate records, monitor placement compliance, support key processes, and uphold the highest levels of customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking team that is actively shaping students’ futures and strengthening employer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain records and placement systems, including placement trackers, agreement forms, attendance logs, and workshop registers.
- Communicate effectively with students, placement hosts, academics, and stakeholders to support placement processes and ensure compliance.
- Provide professional administrative support to the Placements Team, managing inboxes and responding to queries in a timely and helpful manner.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Compliance, Academic Registry) and external employers to support accurate reporting and positive placement experiences.
- Conduct due diligence checks and manage documentation related to UKVI compliance and international student reporting.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of workshops, campaigns, and student enterprise activities.
- Support data collection and reporting for service evaluation and enhancement.
- Maintain an active presence on social media to market opportunities and promote engagement.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and flexible individual who brings:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in education or careers services.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office and other digital tools to support daily operations.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in supporting students from diverse backgrounds to succeed.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career at a university that is future-facing, inclusive, and deeply connected to the communities we serve.
