About NSPPL :
NSPPL was established in February 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors overseas to help the people whose parts have been imputed as a result of the Syrian war and provide them with prosthetic parts and the appropriate rehabilitation .
NSPPL is a non-profit organization which serves people in Syria and Turkey.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
First: assessing, measuring, Casting, and prescribing all the cases.
Second: producing the lower limb prostheses (below the knee) supervised by a technician in the following stages :
1. Casting
2. Rectification
3. First Thermoforming (Test)
4. Second Thermoforming (Final)
5. Alignment (Final)
6. Cosmetic Finishing
7. Training on Gait Cycle
Third:assisting The technician producing ULP, ULO, LLP, and TO.
Ethics and professional practice show:
1. Respect the privacy of the beneficiary.
2. Always interact with children with the presence of their parents or caregivers
3. Discussed the needs and demands in a professional manner.
4. Report any event or action that would harm the beneficiary or others.
5. Always ask permission to touch one in any treatment or maneuver.
6. Always show respect to the other party with regard to refusing treatment.
7. Demonstrate competence to conduct an effective rehabilitation intervention.
Showing the willing to increase their ability to enhance the professional competence and quality of care:
1. Report any need to your department manager to improve/improve your skills and knowledge.
2. Participate in training sessions and other types of capacity-building activities,
3. Participating in different events common to all team members (team meetings, case management meetings).
4. Customs or requests to adapt to department management (reporting, etc.)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or at least 2 years of experience in the field of prosthetics.
- Ability to communicate in both Arabic and Turkish.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
