1555420Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Post 16 SEN Provision, in central Leeds, West Yorkshire to appoint a pool of open-minded and proactive Special Needs Teaching Assistants.Throughout this partnership provision, staff encourage pupils to take as much responsibility for their learning as possible and independence is encouraged at all academic levels.Candidates will be expected to have involvement on supporting pupils in the community, whether this be during a “community Maths lesson” or Offsite Leisure Activities.Requirements

• Previous experience or a specialism in working with Complex Communication Needs and Autism
• Valid DBS or willing to obtain one
• 2x References
