Are you interested in studying the immune response to skin cancer? If you are, the College of Medicine-Phoenix is searching for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the cancer immunology laboratory of Dr. Karen Hastings within the Department of Dermatology. Our basic science and translational projects span from antigen presentation, prediction of immunogenic neoantigens, to T cell-mediated control of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma, utilizing immunological, cellular and molecular biological techniques, mouse models, human specimens, and bioinformatics. We are looking for applicants with wet lab immunology research experience driving the successful completion of projects and authoring peer-reviewed research publications. Applicants should be highly motivated, conscientious, able to work independently under direction of the principal investigator, and have the ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner orally and in writing.
