Postdoctoral Research Associate (Evidence Based Justice Lab)

Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS)This UKRI funded, ful time post is available immediately, until the beginning of July 2025 (with the possibility of extension), to support the work of Professor Rebecca Helm in the Evidence Based Justice Lab.The postYou will be part of a team working on an interdisciplinary project using functional magnetic resonance imaging to examine the neural mechanisms underlying biases in juror evidence evaluation. Imaging work will be conducted at the new Mireille Gillings Neuroimaging Centre in Exeter.The post will include assisting with finalising the experimental design for the study, programming tasks to be completed in the MRI scanner, recruiting participants, greeting participants and explaining study procedure to them, and analysing fMRI data.
