The Center for Applied Nanobiocience and Medicine (ANBM) at the College of Medicine-Phoenix, University of Arizona, is opening a Postdoctoral Research Associate position for an accomplished and motivated candidate. Funding is secured by an industry sponsored project with a period of performance up to 2 years. ANBM is actively developing microphysiological platforms to reproduce human tissues and organs and study human (patho)physiology for guiding personalized medicine. To enable this vision, ANBM is composed of a highly multidisciplinary research team with biologists, chemists, physicists, electrical and mechanical engineers, and work closely with clinicians, including interventional radiation oncologist, oncologists, immunologists, and surgeons. The candidate should have experience performing research in a laboratory setting and should have authored peer-reviewed research publications. Applicants should be detail-oriented, conscientious, able to work independently as well as in a team under direction of the principal investigator, and have the ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner orally and in writing. This position is eligible for visa sponsorship.
