Postdoctoral Research Fellows at Suzhou Institute of Systems Medicine (ISM)

To attract outstanding young scholars from home and abroad to do postdoctoral research, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (CAMS&PUMC) carry out Young Scholar Program in 2022. This program provides generous packages, national research platforms, clear career pathway and assign high-level tutors to support postdoctoral researchers to do frontier scientific research. ISM, based on this program, is implementing the reserve talent strategy with postdoctoral researchers. Through improving the postdoctoral training system, the postdoctoral personnel will be an important source of a scientific research team in the institute.

 

Position: Postdoctoral Research Fellows

1. A doctoral degree holder from well-known local or overseas universities, has obtained a PhD degree for not more than three years

2. Covering a wide range of fields, including Cancer Biology, Tumor Immunology, Infectious, Autoimmune, Metabolic and Degenerative Diseases, as well as Medical Bioinformatics and Structural Biology.

3. Has an outstanding research trajectory, as well as the spirit of innovation, exploration and teamwork

4. Outstanding candidates may be promoted to Assistant Professors

 

Mainly Supports:

1. Basic Annual Package: RMB 340 thousand before tax.

2. Settlement Fee: RMB 60-80 thousand per year before tax.

3. Family Allowance (only for Oversea Scholar): RMB 80 thousand per year before tax.

 

Other supports:

1.Plus competitive support under local policies for post-doc with RMB 270 thousand per year at most.

2.Can apply for senior professional title after two years’ post-doc experience.

3.Sufficient internal funding support from CAMS&PUMC.
