Job Description:

The Ding research group aim to develop site-specific techniques for understanding and rationalizing the active sites of heterogeneous catalysts for a broad spectrum of applications related to renewable energy. We are interested in CO2 conversion, H2 production/storage, plastic waste recycling/upcycling, natural gas upgrading, and emission control. The candidate will work independently on research projects; write reports, manuscripts; and give presentations in conferences. This position is initially for one year with the intent to extend it for a second year or longer.

80% – Conduct research in the field of heterogeneous catalysis; work independently on research projects

10% – Write reports, manuscripts; give presentations in conferences

10% – Help supervise graduate and undergraduate students. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or any related degree
