Meta is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Monetization Generative AI (MGenAI) team in London. MGenAI London is focused on making significant progress in AI-powered content generation for ads applications. In the past 3-4 years, generative AI has seen some of the most significant breakthroughs ever achieved, particularly in large language models and generative image models. Meta Monetization GenAI’s mission is to lead the charge in applied generative AI technology and build products that will help businesses become more productive and efficient. The London team is particularly focused on image and video ad creative generation. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing cutting-edge GenAI technologies that can make a product impact. Term length would be considered on a case-by-case basis.Postdoctoral Researcher – Computer Vision and Generative AI (PhD) ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on research that enables AI-based image and video generation and editingContribute research that can be applied to Meta product developmentInfluence progress of relevant research communities by producing publicationsCollaborate and increase productivity on existing Monetization GenAI projects as a contributing team memberMinimum QualificationsCurrently has or is in the process of obtaining a PhD degree in Computer Vision or Machine LearningTrack record of publications that demonstrate experience in a quantitative domainExperience collaborating within a team to solve analytical problems using quantitative approachesAbility to manipulate and analyze high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sourcesKnowledge in a programming language (particularly Python)Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employmentPreferred QualificationsFirst-author publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g. CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML and ICLR)Experience conducting original research that can be applied to Monetization GenAI productsAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
