Powder Coating Supervisor

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday

Overview:

The Powder Coating Supervisor oversees daily powder coating operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. This role leads a team responsible for cleaning, masking, coating, and packaging metal components while maintaining high standards of performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Safety – Promote a zero-incident culture through consistent enforcement of safety policies and proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Production Supervision – Manage all aspects of powder coating production to meet quality, output, and on-time delivery goals. Adjust workflow, monitor operations, and ensure accurate use of materials and equipment.
• Coaching & Development – Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team. Provide feedback, set goals, and support employee growth.
• Quality – Oversee inspection processes, ensure compliance with specifications, and address any production or quality issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education or apprenticeship preferred
• 3+ years of powder coating or manufacturing supervision experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of powder coating processes and safety practices
