This role is a combination, drawing not only on your solution architectural knowledge but also delving into platform architecture. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to understand requirements, design, and deliver scalable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform stack. Your role will ensure seamless integration across various systems and platforms.Our customers embark on 12-month+ programmes with us to support their Power Platform journey. This journey includes a variety of engagements, from building and enhancing solutions to educating and strategising on how to establish guardrails and processes to scale the Power Platform across their entire organisation. These customers view the Microsoft Power Platform as a strategic tool for their business success, and it is our mission to understand, advise, and support them throughout this journey. Each customer has unique objectives, outcomes, and constraints, making this role an exciting and dynamic opportunity to lead our Centre of Excellence (COE) team.This is a great time to join us and be part of building a team that is already making significant strides. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the future of our Low Code initiatives with the Power Platform.What you’ll be doing…

  • Customer Engagement: Manage all COE customer contracts, ensuring relationship health, controlling churn, customer satisfaction, trusted advisor, backlog management, and engagement.
  • Consulting Leadership: Lead Power Platform consulting engagements from scoping and planning to implementation and delivery.
  • Team Development and Line Management: Grow, mentor, and manage the COE squad, ensuring high-quality standards, providing technical guidance, and overseeing utilization, forecasting, hiring, and performance. Keeping the team motivated and supported is key. Support resource planning in collaboration with Project Managers and Delivery Managers.
  • Escalation Management: Act as the first point of contact for escalations and prioritization within the team.
  • Innovation and R&D: Work with the R&D team to identify new opportunities for templates and automated processes. Create Innovation Hub Environments to deploy prebuilt ANS solutions for customers to explore and ideate on how they can use these solutions across their business and tailor them to their specific needs.
  • IP Development: Build intellectual property to support COE engagements and help customers manage their Power Platform estate.
  • Standards and Processes: Define and refine processes to ensure consistent and high-quality customer experiences.
  • Sales Support: Assist in sales efforts by identifying opportunities for additional customer engagement and support of renewals.
  • Customer Journey: Define and track customer journeys using the ANS 6Ps Framework (Purpose, People, Platform, Process, Portfolio, Promotion).
  • Education and Training: Conduct education sessions to enhance customer and internal team knowledge.
  • Best Practices: Provide best practices and advice to customers building their internal capabilities. Our standards become our customers standards and we lead by example. How we deliver Low Code solutions are typically what our customers want to know how best to structure themselves around the technology.
  • Architecture: Architect new solutions and ensure customers have the right guardrails and processes for Power Platform expansion. This role will expand your horizons to not just the solutions built on the platform, but also the deep underlying platform and processes knowledge it takes to scale an organisation with the Power Platform.
  • Innovation Sessions: Run innovation and ideation sessions to inspire customers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Understand and expand the organizational footprint of Power Platform within customers, building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • DevOps and Agile: Utilize DevOps and Agile methodologies for project leadership and program management.

  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage escalations effectively.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and understanding of service margins and quality.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in delivery and innovation.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong development and technical skills across MDA, Canvas, Power Automate, Copilot, Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL.
  • Enablement: Knowing how to work with customers who want to enable themselves in the Power Platform and what is involved in achieving that outcome.
  • Digital Transformation: Experience in digital transformation and strategy execution.
  • Project and Programme Management: Experience in managing successful Agile programs (MSP) and delivering large mixed technology projects.
  • Line Management: Proven experience in line management and team development.
  • Product Development: Desirable experience in product development.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industry and technology trends.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PL-900, MB-900, AI-900, AZ-900, Agile Practitioner, Scrum Frameworks are desirable.
  • Organisational Change: Awareness and knowledge of organisational behaviour methods (for example Prosci ADKAR)
  • Business Outcome Focus: Proven ability to work with customers to understand and calculate ROI, demonstrate the business value each solution brings, and extract this knowledge from senior stakeholders, business leaders, and SMEs.
  • AI Readiness: Understanding of AI’s impact on customer modernization and how Power Platform can support this.
  • Growth Mindset: Desire for continuous learning and feedback, inspiring and uplifting others.
  • Client Relationships: Ability to build strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor.
  • Power Platform Ecosystem: Comfortable discussing solution enhancements, ideating on new use-cases, and addressing Power Platform guardrails such as environment strategy, DLP, monitoring, and processes required to scale consistency across the business.
