POWER SYSTEMS DIVISION (PSD) APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

• Must be a strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing deadlines.
• Must be able to train new Engineers effectively.
• Must have good attention to detail.
• Ability to perform calculations for sizing or circuit breakers, wires, and disconnects.
• Must be able to prepare and read drawings to be used in construction and equipment installation.
• Must be able to write and modify specifications; read and interpret contract documents.
• Must have an excellent driving record.
• Must be able to travel to various sites.
• Proven ability to understand, interpret and meet complex customer needs through the preparation of proposal and other documentation.

Physical requirements must be met for the Applications Engineer job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
