GENERAL FUNCTION

The Pricing Analyst will be supporting strategic pricing initiatives at EssilorLuxottica using fact-based decision making and analytics. The position will assist in developing mid- and long-term pricing strategies to create revenue and margin enhancement opportunities. This role reports to the Director – Strategic Pricing, while supporting the Sr. Director – North American Strategic Pricing, VP of Sales & Account Management, Sr. Director of Compliance and other EssilorLuxottica groups. Key activities include supporting sales price monthly analysis, pricing strategy analysis, general rate increase, and pricing implementation support.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support monthly sales price analysis for independent customers
• Use analytics and data mining to conduct detailed analysis to support strategic pricing initiatives, including annual general rate increase
• Work with technology partners to design and develop pricing systems that deliver tangible value and improve processes
• Assist technology partners to increase the effectiveness of reporting and various data sources
• Formalize and assist in executing implementation process for pricing changes and new product pricing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management
• 1+ year successful experience in strategic pricing or similar analytical roles
• Responsiveness, open communication, and demonstrated adaptability
• Proven collaboration skills are required to create strong cross functional relationships with key partners
• Ability to engage all levels of the organization verbally and in writing, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams
• Ability to drive a cross-functional project
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner
• Experience in database query applications
• Proven working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
