Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work with one of the most delightful Primary Schools in Fleet for maternity cover from October 2025 working Wednesday to Friday every week.The school are looking for a Primary Teacher to work full-time on a long-term basis covering maternity leave with the potential opportunity to go permanent if you are looking to continue at the school.The school are looking for a Primary Teacher and Teaching Staff that are compassionate, empathetic and understanding. They look for the right type of character and not always the most relevant experience on paper.The school are a fantastic location with outstanding facilities and a truly supportive group with a great outlook and culture.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports all students’ individual needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help each child succeed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting respect, kindness, and responsibility within the classroom and wider school community.
- Take part in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A passion for teaching and supporting young children in their educational journey.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in primary education (preferred but not essential for newly qualified teachers).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic classroom environment.
- A commitment to personal and professional development.
