Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Reporting Consultant PMO

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management – Lead strategic initiatives/projects, enhances process standards and best practices. Project plan tracking and status reporting to senior management.
  • Establish and maintain project work plans and monitor progress against the schedule included therein
  • Transition Management – Finalize transition plan and work on execution, define & track training modules, refine/rewrite procedure manuals and checklist etc.
  • Rationalization of process , identifying automation opportunities and driving through automation
  • Creation of materials for project charters, governance models, workstream structures & dependencies, risk logs etc.
  • Identification, management and escalation of risks and issues to Program/Project Manager
  • Design and implement process and control frameworks
  • BU Testing – Develop UAT Plan including documentation, tracking, issues management, status reporting
  • Interact with managers to help define and document project objectives, governance, and priorities within the scope of the project/program/initiative
  • Interface with key stakeholders, sponsors, and other senior management to confirm program/project sponsorship / support, strategic alignment, and report progress, achievements, significant issues, and risks

Minimum Qualifications

  • BE/B Tech/MCA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Financial product basic knowledge on Equities, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds is a must.
  • Project management experience in driving and leading projects related to change and automation in financial service industry with ability to:

o Assess and document current and future state requirements.

o Document future state process flows, incorporating requirements and obtain stakeholder/sponsor validation.

o Document high-level road map for coordinating the migration to a future state process.

  • A self-starter and highly motivated; ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds and experience.
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely and confidently with senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent in Microsoft tools like Excel, maintaining MIS and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data, ability to learn quickly and clarify poorly defined problems.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies like Scrum & Kanban with an ability to raise Jira Stories/Defects independently will be helpful.
  • Ability to independently provide Status in Daily Standup Meetings and provide constructive feedback to the Development, UAT and Business Teams.
  • Added advantage if candidate has experience in power tools like Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, UI path, VBA macros.
  • Added advantage if candidate possesses knowledge on Asset management/ Investment management business, basic understanding of Derivatives products.
  • Added advantage if candidate possesses knowledge or experience in managing any regulatory projects like PRIIPS, Mifid II etc.
