As a Principal Results Management Specialist, you will lead the implementation of the Corporate Results Framework (CRF) 2025–2030, ensuring that it measures progress toward achieving goals articulated in ADB’s Strategy 2030 and its midterm review. You will lead the institutionalization of results-based management by strengthening linkages between operational activities and development outcomes, coordinate ADB-wide reforms and actions to address development effectiveness and operational performance challenges, and the external engagement and partnership building with bilateral and multilateral development partners.
You will:
- Lead the rollout and implementation of the CRF 2025-2030, ensuring monitoring and alignment with Strategy 2030 goals and strategic focus areas identified in the Strategy 2030 Midterm Review.
- Build internal capacity and communicate knowledge across ADB to promote use of CRF indicators and methodologies.
- Review and refine CRF indicators to adapt to new development priorities and incorporate lessons from implementation.
- Develop tools, guidance documents, and systems to improve data quality, consistency, and reporting under the CRF.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual Development Effectiveness Review (DEfR), highlighting ADB’s progress in achieving its development goals and addressing operational challenges.
- Monitor progress on institutional reforms and action plans addressing performance issues identified through the DEfR and CRF.
- Strengthen results tracking systems and reporting mechanisms to support evidence-based decision-making and accountability.
- Research results management issues, including the use of innovative approaches, tools, and methodologies.
- Identify and address systemic challenges in results monitoring and reporting, proposing applicable solutions.
- Produce learning documents, case studies, and knowledge resources to support continuous improvement in results-based management.
- Represent ADB in international fora and working groups on results management, including collaboration with bilateral and multilateral development partners.
- Strengthen collaboration with international financial institutions and other platforms to harmonize results reporting and share best practices.
- Provide advice to Management on results management and development effectiveness issues, including recommendations to enhance institutional performance.
- Help prepare technical papers, briefing notes, and presentations for senior management and Board discussions.
Qualifications:
You will need:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in public administration, economics, development studies, or related fields. A Bachelor’s degree combined with substantial specialized experience may be considered.
- At least 12 years of relevant professional experience in results management, development effectiveness, or related fields, with a strong understanding of multilateral development bank (MDB) operations.
- Expertise in results-based management, including the design and implementation of corporate results frameworks.
- Familiarity with ADB’s corporate strategy, operational priorities, and institutional reforms.
- Experience working in direct cross-functional teams and manage complex institutional reforms.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
- International experience working in diverse country contexts.
