<div class="isg-job-description“>OverviewThe Microsoft Azure Core Compute Program Management (PM) team drives cross team engagement spanning the breadth of Azure from general purpose to high performance to AI computing. We focus on the area of Compute Infrastructure as a Service (Compute IaaS) from product design/definition to silicon/hardware/software design to implementation/growth/sustaining. Our mandate: deliver secure, efficient, high performance, highly reliable, deterministic compute that customers trust for their most mission critical applications.As we extend the platform for what’s next, we’re hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead division wide initiatives across Azure Host and Azure Boost. This role sits at the center of C&AI priorities for customer experience and platform competitiveness. You’ll drive services with availability and scale targets that raise the industry bar. You’re passionate about compute, fluent at the hardware-software boundary, and bring deep technical and analytical rigor. You influence across groups, turn ambiguity into outcomes, and have a track record of delivering large scale services. Responsibilities* Drive end to end program ownership: Lead planning and execution for complex, cross team Azure Compute scenarios informed by customer insights and data. * Shape product strategy: Define clear, measurable goals and roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and deliver incremental customer value.* Partner across engineering: Collaborate with development teams on architecture, trade offs, and delivery plans that balance quality, performance, and time to market.* Champion customer outcomes: Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to identify scenarios, validate priorities, and ensure solutions meet real world needs.* Influence at scale: Build strong, win win partnerships across Azure and Microsoft to accelerate adoption and deliver platform level impact.* Communicate with clarity: Prepare and deliver high quality executive reviews, distilling complex technical and business context into actionable insights.* Foster alignment and energy: Drive clarity through effective meetings, crisp goals, and transparent progress tracking across multiple teams.
