Full Time | Competitive Salary | Flexible Working AvailableA well-established, Lexcel-accredited multi-service law firm with over 150 years of trusted service across the South Coast and the Isle of Wight is looking for a Legal Assistant to join their busy Private Client Team in the Lee-on-the-Solent office.About the RoleThis is a varied and rewarding role, providing administrative and secretarial support to the Private Client team. You will play a key part in supporting solicitors and fee earners to deliver high-quality legal services.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full secretarial and administrative support
• Diary management and appointment scheduling
• Onboarding new clients, including ID and AML checks
• File management – opening, closing, and archiving
• Audio typing and dictation transcription
• Drafting and producing legal documents
• Handling telephone enquiries and taking accurate messages
• Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional manner

About YouThe ideal candidate will have experience in private client law or a strong background in legal administrative support.Essential Skills & Attributes:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• A flexible, team-oriented mindset
• Confidence in managing expectations and working independently
