About this jobFantastic opportunity for a skilled organic chemist to join a well renowned and expanding pharmaceutical organisation.Our client is looking for candidates who are able to use their broad knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry to develop and optimise routes towards complex pharmaceutical compounds. You will also have the opportunity to scale up these newly designed synthetic routes, producing kg quantities of product.This position has regular rotation of new projects and target molecules, allowing the jobholder to experience and utilise a variety of different chemistry reactions and techniques.Applications will be considered from candidates with the following skills:

• PhD in synthetic organic chemistry (can be currently writing up thesis or finishing off lab work)d
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of a wide range of synthetic chemistry reactions and techniques
• Industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry related to pharmaceutical product synthesis
• Excellent communication skills
