THE ROLE:Our site in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Process Technician to join our team.This role will focus onfixturing/tooling, continuous improvement projects, training,troubleshooting, assembly,and documentationfortheirdepartment.You will use metrics and data to understand where opportunities exist and be able to execute projects from start to finishimplementingyour ideas. You will alsobe responsible forproviding technical support to manufacturing, including providing manufacturingassistanceand support for New and/or Existing Product and Process lines; process continuous improvements and developing programs for set up guidelines.HOURS FOR THIS
position ARE 6AM-2PM. THERE WILL BE TIMES WHEN THE WORK HOURS WILL NEED TO BE FLEXIBLE BASED ON THE PROJECT AND PRODUCTION DEMANDS.WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Works with engineering staff,manufacturingand other team members to improve product manufacturability and feasibility,such as implementing manufacturing prototype parts,designingand building fixtures, planning and organizing layout processes for work cells and assembly lines.Participates in implementing cost reduction solutions forthe manufacturingoperations.Documents all suggestions and changesonprocesses, instructions, and routings.
- Developsand executestraining plansfor operators and technicians to ensure that onboarding,successionplanning, and skill gaps aremonitoredand addressed as needed.
- Leads and executes continuous improvement projects toresolveproblems or concerns that arise during the manufacturing processor feedback from staff or customers.
- Update and create documentation of critical business processes to ensure that knowledge isretainedandstored in the proper locations.
- Monitors product visually and takes corrective action when necessary.Ensures product is consistent with established specifications.Escalates quality issues as appropriate.Ensureshighestpossible productquality and adherence to the Entegris quality system,ISOand/or other standards.Ensures all boxes are packaged and closed per packaging specifications.
- Focuses on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, costeffectivenessand product/system quality.Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities.Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 5s, Kaizen events, etc.
- Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area.WearsrequiredPersonal Protective Equipment.Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures.Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.
WHAT WE SEEK:
- Minimum7years ofElectrical/Mechanical assembly and troubleshootingexperience
- Laser and/or Optics experience preferred
- Previousmanufacturing-basedsolderingexperiencerequired, industrycertificationpreferred
- Vocationalor Bachelor leveleducationpreferred
- Ability tooperatemanufacturing equipment
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed
- Ability to adapt toworkenvironment, workforceand customers’ needs.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
- Ability to lift40lbsandwalk and stand duringshift.
- Good visual ability to detect quality defects.

- Compensation: $25-$32 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
