As a result we are looking for experienced Consultants to join our Professional Services practice. You will work with our clients to develop and implement cost transformation strategies and will need to have expertise and experience from building relationships and strategies with C-Suite level stakeholders to managing the execution of commercial negotiations at pace. You will be responsible for ensuring a high quality output is delivered. Our Consultants must be confident in their ability to challenge existing ways of working, recognize opportunities and identify innovative solutions that add real value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize market insights and industry knowledge to drive informed decision making with clients, impacting their commercial and operational performance of suppliers
  • Gain and manage stakeholder engagement at all appropriate levels and influence effectively
  • Provide input into client’s scope of requirements and specification design, proposing best practice approaches to the market
  • Develop robust strategies that challenge clients’ thinking and drive cost transformation
  • Develop negotiation plans and manage negotiation process with client and supplier(s)
  • Provide commercial input on contract terms and conditions with suppliers
  • Agree mobilization plans and manage activities with client and supplier(s) as required
  • Contribute to the development of Proxima’s internal knowledge development in the Professional Services category

About You:

  • Operating in a client facing environment in a consultancy
  • Strong professional services category knowledge – Legal, Consultancy, Audit, BPO
  • Change management experience
  • Experience of managing and coaching junior team members
  • Demonstrable experience of articulating value propositions to clients
  • Proven track record in delivering high quality, strategic Procurement projects
  • Flexibility to travel domestically as required
  • Excellent planning, negotiation, and written & oral communication skills
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
