Product Information Management Specialist

Location: Kansas City, MO 

Summary:

The “PIM” Specialist is responsible for collecting, managing, and maintaining accurate product information for our e-commerce platform. This role involves obtaining precise weights, dimensions, and other critical product details, ensuring that our online store provides accurate and comprehensive information to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Data Collection & Entry:

• Accurately record product weights, dimensions, and other specifications.
• Enter and update product data in the company’s database and e-commerce platform.

Quality Assurance:

• Verify the accuracy of product information by cross-referencing with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Perform regular audits of product data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Generate reports on product data accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze data trends to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Previous experience in data management, e-commerce, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Proficiency in using data entry and management software, such as Excel or other database tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills for coordinating with various departments and external partners.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, regularly scheduled day is 8 hours with a start time possible between 6:00 am & 7:00 am, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary in order to meet business demands.
• Majority of work performed in warehouse
• Safety shoes are required, safety glasses may be required for some tasks.
• May be exposed to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise.
• Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet jack, overhead jobs, and cranes.
