What is the job about?
Grundfos USA is looking for a Product Information Management Specialist to join our Domestic Building Services (DBS) Marketing team. This position is known internally as a PxM (Product Experience Management) Consultant.
As a member of the PxM team, you will assist various departments including sales, marketing, and product development to create and deliver seamless product experiences to drive great customer experiences, improve sales and grow new sales channels. You will be responsible for overseeing the organization, development, maintenance, and optimization of all product-related data. You will implement and maintain the PIM system, manage data quality, and provide support to internal stakeholders to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of PIM processes. Furthermore, you will support the delivery of e-commerce data to customers.
You will be using the PIM platform to deliver solutions supporting the DBS business in the US.
You will report to the Senior Global Marketing Director and work on a hybrid schedule out of our Lenexa, KS, office.
Your main responsibilities:
- Data management and quality assurance: Gather, input, and meticulously update product information within the PIM system to ensure data integrity. Perform regular audits to ensure product information is accurate, complete, consistent, and entered in a timely manner. Identify and correct data discrepancies, errors, and/or inconsistencies. Help create and enforce data governance policies to ensure product information consistency and accuracy.
- Product data enrichment and optimization: Collaborate with product managers, sales and marketing to enrich data with attributes, images, descriptions and other relevant information. Optimize data for searchability and discoverability for search engines, e-commerce websites, marketplaces, and internal databases. Implement best practices for categorization, attribute mapping, and taxonomy.
- Market analysis and continuous improvement: Analyze market and industry trends and best practices related to PIM. Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability of product data.
- Customer-focused mindset: Develop strong customer service skills to understand internal and external customers’ PIM needs and requirements.
- Facilitating the price book maintenance and creation process in cooperation with the team and working with Akeneo & Priint for price book development.
- Building up Akeneo as the PxM platform for customer-facing data sharing.
- Using Productsup for creating and maintaining data feeds to portals and customers.
- Engage and train the global network of colleagues using the products to deliver on local business needs.
Your background

We imagine that you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information/Data Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a relevant degree with equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of work experience in a Product Information Management or data management field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with data.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with Product Information Management systems.
- A high level of digital understanding.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a global business setting.
- Working knowledge of SAP, Akeneo, Priint would be an asset.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Attention to details and comfortable working with lots of data.
- Fluent English skills in writing and speaking.
