Are you a confident Product Manager with a passion for developing new products and innovative Search and Discovery platforms for the academic market?
We are working on an exciting role in the Product Innovation team of a world leading academic publisher, that will see you work on new product lines together with a brilliant team of product manager, UX designers, and researchers!The details:·Salary: £55,000 – £66,000 depending on experience
·Location: London (hybrid, 1 day a week in the office)
·25 days holiday + bank holidays + 2 additional ‘floating days
·Benefits include life assurance, and travel insurance, access to books and journals, anniversary trips, and more!What you’ll be doing:The Product Manager will be taking a user centric approach to deliver new products, collections and enhancements, working with the rest of the team to bring excellent products out into the world.Key responsibilities:·Deliver launches of new products and features on time and to a high standard using Agile methodologies
·Collaborate with strategic product leads to convert business requirements into development user stories and backlog priority tickets
·Ensure products are developed in line with accessibility standards
·Conduct quality assurance and systematic user acceptance testing for product launches
·Carry out measurement and reporting of launch process against set targetsWe are looking for someone who is…·Great at communicating and working with multiple stakeholders to drive decision making and product delivery
·Knowledgeable in Agile methodologies and project management framework and tools (Jira, Scrum, Kanpan, Confluence, or similar)
·Experienced in launching new digital products, including working on the initial concept, development, design and release
·Data-driven and user focused, always aiming at delivering value to customers
·Able to reach out to the market, building a strong knowledge of key product users and customers, acting as an advocate for their needs and views
·Skilled in business analysis, including gathering, analysing and documenting requirements
