Title: Product Manager – Intermediate
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Core skills and experience – 40%

  • 5+ years of product management experience in IT or digital services
  • Proven experience leading large-scale digital or IT transformation projects of delivering user-centric products in complex environments
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery, Scrum, and Lean product development and working with cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in building and maintaining a product roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Experience defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success

Technical skills and experience – 35%

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories
  • Ability to define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy conducting discovery work

  • Strong experience with backlog management, prioritization techniques, and release planning

Communication and documentation skills – 20%

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, from executive sponsors to technical teams
  • Experience of leading product demos, roadmapping sessions, and stakeholder updates

Public Sector Experience – 5%

  • Experience with OPS IT project and architectural governance
  • Knowledge of OPS Digital , accessibility, and cybersecurity standards

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of Strong BA with Scrum Master Exp.
  • Hands-on experience with stakeholder management, leading projects and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
  • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
  • Defining the product vision
  • Ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience:
  • Identify and fill product gaps
  • Generate new ideas that grow market share
  • Improve customer experience
  • Drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
