WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join the Consulting Insights & Analytics team – part of Bain’s Digital Workplace Experience (DWX) group, which leads the firm’s most ambitious technology and productivity efforts. DWX brings together Product and Engineering talent in cross-functional, agile teams to drive innovation and deliver intuitive, AI-powered tools that support consultants and clients worldwide.

As a member of the Consulting Insights & Analytics team, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across DWX and Bain, helping to set new standards for how our teams work, connect, and create. WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

Are you a former or current consultant who wants to take the next step and change for the better how Bain teams support clients across the world?

As Product Owner for Consulting Insights, you’ll help Bain by deriving insights from consultants’ work and the data we produce on our client engagements, and define/drive the building of AI features around it. As a first prioritized area of work this will also temporarily comprise AI features for Bain slide work. This is an opportunity to leverage your consulting expertise beyond the project team, shaping digital solutions that boost productivity and empower your colleagues globally.

You’ll join a dynamic product team that sits at the crossroads of innovation and day-to-day excellence, with own experience in product delivery and consulting. Your insights and product leadership will help define the tools consultants rely on most, while allowing you to enjoy less travel and more foreseeable and owned work vs. consulting – all while building new skills. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Shape Product Vision: Partner with leadership to refine strategies and champion innovation in our slide productivity tools
• Engage Stakeholders: Act as the voice of Bain’s consultants – gathering feedback, prioritizing needs, and ensuring our tools deliver real value
• Drive Agile Delivery: Write user stories, define criteria, and help guide development teams to bring features to life
• Define “what Good looks like”: Link outcomes from our tailored AI features to the real world and drive understanding of internal AI quality
• Measure Impact: Conduct pilots and track adoption and business outcomes to ensure solutions evolve with user needs
• Develop Expertise: Build deep knowledge of Bain workflows and market trends to guide product evolution

ABOUT YOU

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in client-facing consulting roles at an MBB or similar consultancy
• Customer-centric mindset, able to handle competing priorities and turn complex needs into actionable solutions
• Curious, strategic thinker with analytical acumen to define and track business objectives
• Team player, eager for a new challenge in a dynamic functional role

Preferred:

• Proven analytical background and interest for generative AI and ML
• Strong communicator, engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in product ownership or business analysis
• Background in engineering, technology, or life sciences
