Product Owner – Scrum – Cheshire, CT

Plans andheadsthe development effort of a scrum project.

Envisions the final product, communicates the vision to the scrum team, motivates the team to subscribe to the vision, andsees the visionthrough tocompletion.

Describes features, collaborates, and communicates with the delivery team, and accepts or rejects work results, and steersthe project by tracking and forecasting its progress.

Creates,maintains, and outlines work in the product backlog;determineswhich activities will produce the most businessvalue; and prioritizes it based on business value.

Identifiesthe market, the customer, the business domain, and the varying needs ofdifferent typesof users, and workswith the user grouptomake sound decisions anddeterminewhat features will be in the product release.

Collaborates closely with the development team and customers to ensure there is a clear understanding of what featuresare needed in the product or Application.

Ensures management, stakeholders, and sponsors areinformedand the vision is aligned with theirgoals; communicatesthe business benefits of the entire product and each individual feature.

Performs other duties as assigned.
