Production Supervisor – 1st Shift

The Opportunity …

This position supervises the output from multiple clip presses, which manufacture aluminum clips of various sizes, to include the proper packing of finished product (Clips) as well as quality inspection of the product.

As a Production Supervisor– you will report to the Manager of Operations

On a given day, you may:

• Supervise production personnel and ensure they are reporting labor appropriately.
• Track performance and take corrective action when necessary.
• Assist with cost improvement initiatives and developing best practices and standard operating procedures for maximum utilization.
• Identify and resolve possible interruptions in workflow and communicate issues.
• Communicate and develop action plan to manage seasonal variations in shop floor utilization

Requirements for the role

• 5 years’ experience supervising in a manufacturing facility.
• Previous experience working with a manufacturing ERP system
• Understanding of how to manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution.
• Previous experience with developing departmental budgetary requirements and/or project management.
• Previous experience using standard calipers, or other similar measuring equipment.
• You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Travel & Location

• This position is fully onsite.
