Job Responsibilities
Put Safety first at all times, never compromise on safety for the obtainment of other objectives. Responsible for health and safety of themselves and coworkers.
Ensures operational SIRM goals are met, if not met, develop a plan to make up back log / miss.
Track daily / weekly production, give updates daily and identify problems.
Ensure the flow of subcomponents through the cell ” bottle necks”
Provide work direction to workers assigned to the work cell, coordinate vacation and lunch/break coverage, obtain overtime coverage as approved, time approvals.
Coordinate and provide training of Technicians.
Housekeeping, organization and encouraging (5S) of the work cell
Raw materials & general supplies needed are present at each work station and surplus materials are properly stored.
Ensure proper completion of production and traceability documentation is present at all work stations
Set-up and operate key equipment in work cell. Help in establishing, implementing, and sustaining; TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). Ensuring AM are complete
SAP transactions including but not limited to; Migo, Co11N, MMBE, MD04
Lead Start-up Meeting (Tier 1), Involvement in Tier 2
Ensure proper procedures are followed during: Safety Incidents, Evacuation, Inclement Weather

Supervisory responsibility: Yes
Supervisors are responsible for overseeing their work group including but not limited to:formal evaluations/performance management as set out by the organization, recruitment and developing group cohesion.
Good leadership skills – communication, coordination, recognition, coaching, accountability
Attention to detail
Ability to understand, follow, and enforce training materials and work instructions.
Basic knowledge of MSDS and their use.
Proper use of safety and personal protective equipment.
Ability to work scheduling issues.
Basic computer skills
Relevant Work Experience: Worked in a manufacturing environment
Minimum High School Graduate with relevant work experience.
Working Conditions
Indoor production environment, adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures. Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts. Ability to work schedule modifications and be available as business situations required, overtime dependent on business need.
