JOB SUMMARY
The Production Worker- Operator works directly in the manufacturing area ensuring quality standards are met, painting, removing stone from molds and packing accurately and any other duty needed to support the production of product.

Starting pay rate $21.00

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures
• Applies color to molds with spray or brush according to quality standards
• Applies acid spray to molds
• Pulls stones from mold and packs in boxes, ensuring the accurate amount of product is packed
• Reviews quality standards of stones (i.e., air bubbles, color, deformations, etc.)
• Scrapes excess cement from molds, pulls cement up in corner molds
• Ensures that all packaging, including labels, staples, box type and assembly are in accordance with proper standards
• Able to clean molds to decrease over pour in the mold
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to keep a safe work environment
• Respects scheduled rotation of breaks and lunches
• Performs other related duties as assigned by department and area management
• Train and able to perform duties within any production lines and/or position when help is required
• Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent Safety and Attendance Record
• Knowledge of all mold texture and stone color
• Know and be able to apply OSHA safety standards related to job
• Proficient forklift driver with certification preferred
• Basic reading, writing and numerical ability
• Ability to communicate to proper personnel when changes or problems occur
• Flexible- able to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to follow directions and perform tasks with minimum supervision
• Ability to work as a team player

education AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• The employee should have the following:
• No minimum education requirement
• No prior experience or training required

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The employee should possess the ability to:
• Prolong standing or in stationary position
• Complete repetitive movements
• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
• Complete repetitive movements
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

RESUMEN DE TRABAJO
El Operador de Produccion es responsable de supervisar las operaciones diarias en la manipulacion de cenizas y las operaciones de vertedero.

Pago inicial: $21.00
FUNCIONES ESENCIALES:

• Cumplir con las politicas y procedimientos de seguridad
• Aplicar color a los moldes con pistola o brocha de acuerdo con los estandares de calidad
• Aplicar rociador de acido a los moldes
• Retirar las piedras del molde y empacarlas en cajas, asegurando que se empaque la cantidad correcta de producto
• Revisar los estandares de calidad de las piedras (por ejemplo, burbujas de aire, color, deformaciones, etc.)
• Raspar el exceso de cemento de los moldes y levantar el cemento en los moldes de esquina
• Asegurar que todo el material de empaque, incluyendo etiquetas, grapas, tipo de caja y ensamble, cumpla con los estandares adecuados
• Ser capaz de limpiar los moldes para reducir el exceso de vertido en el molde
• Mantener un area de trabajo limpia y organizada para conservar un entorno de trabajo seguro
• Respetar la rotacion programada de descansos y comidas
• Realizar otras tareas relacionadas que asigne la gerencia del departamento y del area
• Capacitarse y ser capaz de desempenar funciones en cualquier linea y/o puesto de produccion cuando se requiera apoyo
• Asistencia regular, puntualidad y flexibilidad de horarios

CONOCIMIENTOS, HABILIDADES Y CAPACIDADES

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicacion y presentacion
• Historial sobresaliente de seguridad y asistencia
• Conocimiento de todas las texturas de moldes y colores de piedra
• Conocer y poder aplicar las normas de seguridad de OSHA relacionadas con el puesto
• Conductor de montacargas competente, se prefiere certificacion
• Habilidad basica de lectura, escritura y calculo numerico
• Capacidad para comunicar al personal adecuado cuando ocurren cambios o problemas
• Flexibilidad: capacidad para trabajar en varios turnos, horas extra y fines de semana
• Capacidad para seguir instrucciones y realizar tareas con supervision minima
• Capacidad para trabajar en equipo

EDUCACION Y/O EXPERIENCIA

• El empleado debe tener lo siguiente:

• No se requiere experiencia o entrenamiento

REQUISITOS FISICOS ESENCIALES/ENTORNO DE TRABAJO

• El empleado debe poseer la capacidad de:
• Permanecer de pie por mucho tiempo o en posicion estacionaria
• Completar movimientos repetitivos como escribir
• Exponerse a sonidos o niveles de ruido que pueden ser incomodos
• Completar movimientos repetitivos
• Usar todo el equipo de proteccion personal requerido (proteccion auditiva, visual y casco)
• Levantar/mover/transportar articulos de hasta 50 libras
