PRODUCTMANAGER, Data Platform

Our enterprise Data and Technology team at Zelis isseekinga driven and analyticalProduct Manager, DataPlatformto join ourtechnicalproductteam.AsaProductManager, you willorchestratethe product lifecycle ofaninternaldataplatformin close collaboration with engineering leadsthrough definition of business requirements, coordination with various technical and non-technical teams, andfacilitationof a robust pipeline forinternalusecases.Together withother product managers,you‘llberesponsible fordeliveringon our product roadmap to support the current and future needs of the business.

We are looking for someone passionate about data management,engineering, and analytics with strong product management experience tojoin our growingtechnicalproduct team.

Responsibilities

Become an expertin yourproduct areas, acting asthe go to person for otherstakeholdersbefore speaking to the technical dataand software engineeringteams

Collaboratewith software engineers, dataengineersand other product teamsto scopenewor refine existingplatformfeaturesand data capabilities that increase business value, adoption, and user engagement

Draft clear and concise business requirementsand technicalproduct documentation

Interface withinternal to Zelis engineering and productteams tomanage the intake process for new requests

Understand how your product areas link into the wider roadmap and be able to highlightbothdependenciesandopportunities for growth

Define key performance indicatorsto evaluate products

Be the voice of the customer in technical discussions andfacilitatethe relationship between the Application teams and technical data teams for your product areas

Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including engineering,architecture, operations,product, marketing, partnerships, and customer success

Collaborate withtechnical product analysts to support engineering teams through the delivery lifecycle

Experience

3+ years oftechnicalproduct management experience withdemonstratedability todefine product scope and deliver alongside technical teams

An ability to listen to diverse audiences,identifyrequirements,gapsand barriers, and translate needs into product features

Technical depth that enables you to collaborate withsoftware engineersand data engineerstodrive technical discussions about design ofdata visualizations,data models, ETLs, deployment of data infrastructure

Possessstrong communicationskills, with clear verbal communication as well as explicit and mindful written communication skills

Strong understanding of Data Management, Data Engineering,ETLs,Cloud Engineering, and Product Analytics concepts and other data tools such as SQL, Python, R, Spark,AWS, Azure,Airflow, Snowflake, andPowerBI

Understanding of concepts related to Data Privacy, Data Governance, Data Masking, Roles Based Access Controls

Well-versed inAgile frameworks and product tools such as Jiraand Confluence

Experience collecting and collating usecasesand managing intake processes for new features

Open to candidates with either B2B or B2C experience and outside the healthcare industry; critical to success in this role isbeing intellectually curious, a self-starter, and experience building dataproducts

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee’s work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$115,000.00 – $145,350.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
