We are looking for a senior academic with a track record in mental health research and knowledge exchange to work with a growing mental health team to examine mental health and inequalities across the Cumbrian landscape so applicants with experience in this broad area are welcomed. Whilst we will work with colleagues and partners to explore priorities, we are especially interested in areas such as crisis care, children and young people, the interface between complex needs and mental health (e.g. autism or learning disabilities) and place and space. But we are also keen to hear from applicants with a portfolio of work in other areas related to mental health and to explore opportunities. We have promised to embed co-production and public and patient participation in every aspect of the Mental Health Award and so candidates with experience of engaging with communities and people with lived experience are welcomed.
