The Program Coordinator (Administrative Officer 4) within the Bureau of Watershed Restoration and Nonpoint Source Management plays a vital role in facilitating the Commonwealth’s initiatives related to the Chesapeake Bay Program Partnership. This includes overseeing Pennsylvania’s Chesapeake Bay Phase 3 Watershed Implementation Plan, the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement, the agriculture compliance program, and the Growing Greener and Section 319 grant programs, while also providing support to conservation districts.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Program Coordinator may assess current programs to enhance efficiency and collaboration across divisions and bureaus. This role involves identifying critical water and resource needs and formulating effective strategies for water quality management and watershed restoration. Your duties also encompass evaluating the progress of the bureau’s programs and analyzing how this progress aligns with the overall goals and mission of the bureau.
