The EU E-commerce Legal team provides comprehensive support for diverse, cross functional, and multi-jurisdictional initiatives across the TikTok e-commerce business in the UK and Europe, including TikTok Shop. About the team

TikTok is seeking an experienced, innovative, and diligent Program Manager to join our EU E-commerce Legal team. Your role will have a significant impact across the EU E-commerce Legal team and the business lines we support. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where your analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills will play a key role in tackling some of the most complex, interesting, and cutting-edge legal issues in the technology and e-commerce sector. Amongst other things, you will be responsible for enhancing efficiency and productivity by streamlining and systematising processes and initiatives, overseeing key strategic projects, and managing efficient global cross-functional co-operation.

You will be a confident and motivated self-starter, who is detail oriented and executes with excellence, and is a strong owner with bias for action. You will think strategically, with long-term value in mind, and able to independently identify opportunities for improvement, and execute impactful initiatives to efficiently and consistently deliver results in a fast moving environment. You will have effective and clear communication skills, especially in conveying strategic plans through written documentation, and adept at collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across teams and regions. You will have a self-motivated and efficient approach to aligning multiple stakeholders toward common goals.

This role will be based in London.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership and management: Lead and manage projects, processes, and strategic initiatives across various subject matter areas to support a range of e-commerce business verticals. Collaborate with legal team members and cross-functional stakeholders to create and execute effective project plans, and develop scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Identify and address project obstacles proactively.
• Stakeholder communication: Drive open and effective communication channels with legal team members and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring regular updates on project milestones, developments, and deliverables. Support project sponsors in maintaining relationships with business stakeholders. Facilitate strategic discussions, build trust, and obtain consensus from teams and department leads. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Optimization and innovation: Demonstrate a keen ability to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues to deliver operational and technological improvements and optimization. Design and implement innovative solutions, encompassing technological, operational, and change management strategies, to address emerging challenges. Review manual and non-manual operations, developing and executing plans for optimization and automation. Develop standardized processes and scalable solutions, leveraging and optimizing technology and resources.
• Operational and administrative support: Offer proactive operational and administrative assistance, including preparing agendas, presentations, and other materials for meetings and presentations, as well as capturing meeting minutes, and ensuring that action items are tracked to completion. Gather, review, and organize information and documents in connection with the EU E-commerce Legal team. Organize, schedule, and conduct meetings, create and present analyses and reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Experience: Extensive experience in project or program management in a fast paced environment, preferably within the technology sector, operations, or consulting at high-growth organizations.
• Project Management: Proficiency in managing and co-ordinating large-scale projects, working closely with legal and business teams, as well as other partner teams, to ensure effective execution of project plans.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven expertise in cross-functional stakeholder management, trust-building, and effective verbal/written communication, with a track record of successful collaboration and relationship-building. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management in the legal and technology sector would be a plus.
• European languages would be a bonus.
